Established in 2015 in Florence, SC, Joy Studio has grown from it’s humble beginnings with a few students. The Lord has continued to provide the team, space, students, and details as we learn to steward His ministry!

We offer focused triaining in Musical Theatre, Ballet & Jazz classes.
We offer drop in classes including hip-hop, Afro-beats, tap, Fitness, & Worship.
Our Typical Season includes multiple performance opportunites as well as community outreach.
Catherine Curl Webb started classical ballet training at age three and began training in theatre at age five. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree with a Theatre major and a Dance minor from the University of South Carolina. She has directed and choreographed for Community Theatre productions, show choirs, Columbia Children's Theatre, Impact
Catherine Curl Webb started classical ballet training at age three and began training in theatre at age five. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree with a Theatre major and a Dance minor from the University of South Carolina. She has directed and choreographed for Community Theatre productions, show choirs, Columbia Children's Theatre, Impact Christian Children's Theatre, and taught High School Theatre and Dance. In 2017 she completed a Performing Arts Discipleship Training School in Australia and South Africa with YWAM Sydney Island Breeze and completed the Discipleship Bible School in 2019. She recently completed the School of Dance through the University of the Nations in Kona, Hawaii, with outreach through Costa Rica and Mexico! She is passionate about seeing the performing arts used as a vessel to communicate hope and Truth and equipping dancers to share their gifts locally and globally on mission! Her hope in establishing Joy Dance Studio is to provide a space for students to grow in excellence in the Arts and grow in grace.

fitness coach. Her journey with dance and the stage began when she was 10 years old,
and ever since, the arts have remained a vibrant part of her life. Whether through
movement, music, or storytelling, she believes in the power of creativity to uplift and
inspire.
Over the years, her passion for living a healthy, purpose-filled life led her into the fitness
world, where she now has spent over six years helping others. Her Christian faith keeps
her grounded in everything she does, and her Nigerian and Jamaican roots bring a rich
blend of rhythm, culture, and color that she loves to weave into different experiences she
shares.
Bree Boyce Marsh is a graduate of Francis Marion University with a BA in Theatre and minor in Music. She has studied voice since the age of 7 and classically trained since the age of 12. In 2011, she won Miss South Carolina and went on to place in the top 12 at Miss America. She has performed all over the country and even sang for Prince

She and her husband Andrew have been married since 2017 and have a 3 year old little girl, Isla.
Our Preschool & Elementary Dance Classes incorporate Once Upon a Ballet Curriculum.
Once Upon a Ballet is a children's dance curriculum rooted in early childhood development theory and teaches dance in a way that young children learn best. It teaches age-appropriate dance concepts and skills and is full of imagination and creativity. It is specifically designed to give your child a strong foundation in learning, movement, and dance.
